A very happy and amazing 250th Anniversary to Lodge of Hengist No. 195 meeting in The South West Area of Hampshire Freemasons.

The Lodge was warranted No. 405 on 23rd November 1770. However its seniority was adversely affected by the re-numbering at the 1813 Union, in reality it's the forth oldest Lodge in our Province.

An amazing history of fellowship for a Lodge of which only three of the founders were actually Masons. The other six, including the first Senior Warden, were initiated at the inaugural meeting!

The Initiation fee back then was 3 guineas, (1 guinea for a Lewis), 1 guinea deposit being required of the proposer.

We'll raise a glass to the continued health and prosperity of the Lodge at the appropriate hour. 😍 🍷

This new image has been released to mark the 73rd wedding anniversary of The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh tomorrow.
In the photograph Her Majesty and His Royal Highness are seen looking at an anniversary card made by Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, alongside other cards and letters sent by well-wishers.
The photograph was taken in the Oak Room at Windsor Castle earlier this week.

Brother Phil Hoyle from Mereyk lodge who has done so much for his community had this happen today.
It’s so sad I’m sure he is in all our thoughts and if anyone can help please doSo I’ve come down to start preparing Sunday Roasts to find this, can’t believe anyone would do this! We are trying to help the community, free lunches for anyone that needs them and this is what I get. What were your kids up to last night? Have you been offered any cheap spirits? Particularly rare Gins, we’ve lost a number of power tools, £1000 worth of stock. I’ve informed the Police that we have evidence but they are unsure when they can come out. Help me out Poulner someone knows something. Reward for names. Any chippies able to secure this today?
