Keep up-to-date with Signature Golf
Is this the ultimate British golfing experience…
I have been getting creative with my planning and have customised a golfing vacation that would take in England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. It’s a bespoke itinerary and Priced on Application but I have had fun planning and designing it and wonder how people would receive it – and if they would add/remove courses – call it golf travel dreaming and consumer research. having spoke to a lot of clients in the US they loved the idea of visiting all 4 locations in the UK and I thought theres a challenge…. so here it is
Not for the faint hearted, travel sick, budget traveller or inexperienced golfer, this involves playing 16 Golf Courses, visiting 3 cities, and taking in some of the finest accommodation and scenery the UK has to offer. A truly bespoke, trip – bucket list golf.
Many people coming into the UK to play golf tend to visit Scotland – it’s on many a bucket list to want to play The Old Course in St Andrews, but there is so much phenomenal golf throughout the UK I thought if you were taking a flight to get here, especially a transatlantic one and had say 3 weeks to spare it could be a great adventure to play golf in each fantastic and varied location.
So Imagine this for a moment – you arrive after your transatlantic evening flight into London and are treated to brunch, a post flight massage and an afternoon to unwind in a spa. A welcome dinner follows where our personal host will formally welcome you on your Signature Experience, talk about the highlights of the week and answer any questions, special requests you may have.
In the days that follow you will play golf at Sunningdale, and Swinley Forest and have a full day in London for sightseeing, shopping, dining and really whatever you would like out of our capital city. You will then take a short flight to Belfast for an evening of dining and relaxation at Slieve Donard and the following day you play the Number One golf course in the world! A post golf dinner and and a good nights rest prepares you for another day of golf in Northern Ireland and then the following day leaving early morning as you take a short flight down to Dublin. Your personal host will guide you to the Guinness storehouse for a connoisseur experience in a private bar – with lots of tastings and then an afternoon/evening in Dublin soaking up the Irish charm, live music and the craic.
The following days involve playing some of Southern Irelands most famous courses, Portmarnock, The K Club, Druids Glen. Once your exploration of Ireland has been completed you will take another short flight into Edinburgh – the most magnificent city, for a day of architecture, culture and Scottish charm and hospitality and an evening in this historic and vibrant city. After breakfast you can relax and enjoy a scenic drive over to St Andrews where you have a guaranteed Tee time on the Old Course a bucket list game of golf for many golfers. Your Scottish golf itinerary also includes Kingsbarns (often referred to as the Pebble Beach of the UK, and Carnoustie. A luxury transfer with your favourite afternoon tipple takes you down to North West England, where after settling into another luxurious boutique hotel you will in the following days play Royal Birkdale – home of The Open 2017, Royal Lytham and St Annes, and Royal Liverpool (Hoy-lake). A couple of evenings in Liverpool including dinner on the waterfront complete this part of the trip.
Your England section of the trip is now complete and you will travel once more in luxury on a scenic drive into Wales where you will play Neffyn and stay overnight before driving through more beautiful Welsh scenery to Royal St Davids and finishing the last of the golf at Celtic Manor.
A leaving dinner on your final evening with your host to reminisce and chat about the highlights of this phenomenal trip concludes your great british golf adventure and the following morning you enjoy breakfast and a pre flight massage before being transferred to London to fly home.
So… would anyone like to join me?
