How many guests can you accommodate in our group?

The minimum sized group is 4 guests and our maximum sized group is 16 guests. Group sizes in-between are easily accommodated.

How far in advance should I book a trip to ensure availability?

We recommend you book between 24 – 3 months prior to your desired arrival date, however late reservations are welcome as availability can usually be arranged.

What is the best time to travel?

During the summer season from May to October you can enjoy the best possible chance of good weather, although it can be very unpredictable so you should be prepared for any conditions.

Can we make any amendments to our schedule once the booking is confirmed?

Yes, we will endeavour to make changes were possible. Please contact us and we will be happy to discuss this with you.

What exactly does the concierge service entail?

Our Signature Service team pride themselves in providing the ultimate hospitality, around the clock concierge and chauffeur service. Your assigned concierge and host will be on hand to cater for your every need. They will arrange dinner reservations, take you to and from each course whilst sharing their knowledge of golf and the surrounding area. We like to think our service is like no other and our aim is to provide excellence throughout your vacation.

Can I buy a trip as a gift?

Yes, as long as you can provide us with the names and handicaps of all those travelling. We will send you an itinerary and confirmation of the trip presented in a gift box to give to the recipient. After this, we will finalise the minor details.

What if I have to cancel my trip?

Cancellations must be made in writing to Signature Golf UK. Penalties are as follows:

  • More than 90 days prior to arrival date – 30% deposit forfeit
  • Between 30 and 90 days prior to arrival date – 60% of total tour costs forfeited
  • Less than 30 days of arrival date – 100% of tour costs

I want to book. What do you now need from all tour participants to put into place?

Once you have planned your trip, discussed the itinerary and you wish to proceed, we require the full name, address, contact number and email address of each member of the group. A current handicap certificate is also required.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Payments can be made by cheque, payable to Signature Golf UK Ltd, by credit or debit card or by bank transfer. We accept the majority of major debit/credit cards, including American Express.

Do I need travel insurance?

We strongly advise you take out personal insurance to cover you for the full duration of your trip with us. It would be wise to check all of the terms and conditions of your travel insurance policy in advance. It is important to us that you are completely covered, should any problems arise during the extent of your stay. We recommend that your insurance policy covers the following: flight delays, baggage and belongings, personal liability and medical cover.

We have others interested in joining us on our vacation; can they be added after we have booked?

Yes, although we advise guests to let us know ASAP so we can pre-plan your itineraries and reservations.

Can you assist with sightseeing suggestions?

Signature Golf would love to share suggestions with you on how to spend your time off the course during your stay. Once we know which package you have decided upon, we can produce an itinerary fully tailored to suit you and your group.

What is the dress code at most golf clubs?

The majority of golf clubs adhere to a strict code of dress. Many do not allow shorts and insist upon wearing a collared shirt. In most golf clubs hats are not permitted inside the clubhouse and you will find designated areas for spiked and tennis shoes. Some golf clubs may insist upon a jacket and tie during the evening. Our concierge will be happy to advise you.

Are golf carts available?

This varies upon which course you will be playing. Golf carts are not always available at some courses and there is often a limited supply which tend to be reserved for golfers with medical conditions. If you are certain you will require a cart then we do ask that you advise us in advance in order that we can assist you in your choice of courses where carts are available.
