Historic Escort nearly finished and ready for tarmac rallying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 warm days rallying completing on the Isle of Man with both cars prepared by MEM finishing the demanding event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The body and paint shop were busy in May with another work completed on Ford Escort Mk1. The bare shell was stripped and completely resprayed ready for a full rebuild.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This rally hasn\u2019t been kind to us in recent years!. Chris Ingram and Alex Kihurani dominated the early proceedings to lead after day 1 but unfortunately went off the road on the second stage of day 2 and were forced to retire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just a stage later the Yaris Rally2 of Meirion Evans and Jonathan Jackson were also out with a steering issue that developed during the stage. Following a troubled start with a spin and overshoot on day 1, they were back within touching distance of the podium positions before their rally came to an end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A disappointing weekend but we will bounce back
